Thank you to all who participated in the 2019 Spring Reuse Rockstar Competition! This competition highlights the creative and skillfully made projects our customers make with materials from EcoBuilding Bargains. The community voted for the project they liked best at our EcoBuilding Bash on Saturday, May 11th. All of the projects submitted were inspiring and creative, we are so grateful we have customers who choose to reuse and upcycle!
Twyla Reardon- Jewelry
Twyla purchased antique keyholes from EcoBuilding Bargains and turned them into beautiful pieces of jewelry.
Second Place – Tie!
Elena Divenuto Trotta- Kitchen Island
Elena purchased a 30”x68” door slab and a chair rail from EcoBuilding Bargains. She also used reclaimed black pipe for legs and a 1×8 Southern Yellow Pine Board for the legs.
Katie Russia- Sink
Katie purchased an antique radio console from EcoBuilding Bargains, and added a vintage glass bowl to turn it into a sink for her tiny house!
Kate Hall- Fence
Kate wanted to create a fence around her yard for privacy. Instead of building a fence with traditional materials, Kate decided to be creative and original by using doors! Kate used 38 doors in total and 34 were from EcoBuilding Bargains.
