Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

CET is committed to racial justice and inclusion. Our Board and staff have been formally co-creating and implementing a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Framework since 2020 that spans all internal and external policies, practices, and services.

We communicate regularly about DEI initiatives as they progress and seek our staff’s, Board’s, and external partners’ input at various stages of this process. To ensure that DEI becomes second nature to everyone and is fully integrated into our mission, we are examining seven operational domains (organizational values, governance, planning & monitoring, communication & engagement, staff development, organizational infrastructure, and services & interactions) and identifying where we can enhance the structures and processes in support of DEI.

We strongly encourage diverse applicants to apply. You may include military service assignments and any verified work performed on a volunteer basis. CET is an equal-opportunity employer and provider. If you are having trouble or need assistance submitting your application, please email hr@cetonline.org.

Compensation Policy

CET’s goal is to recruit, attract, retain, and engage skilled and mission-driven employees. We believe in being a nonprofit workplace where people can do well financially while doing good for the world. We establish and maintain competitive pay ranges that ensure positions are valued appropriately in relation to one another within the organization and are aligned with market rates offered by the competitive labor market. Total Compensation is made up of several components—Salary, Paid Time Off, Insurance Benefits, and Retirement Plan—and we aim to meet or exceed the market median for all these components and to regularly assess the results for fairness and equity internally.

The Center for EcoTechnology (CET) is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO). CET is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination and equal opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment.
